well,
my mint plant sprouted!!!!!!!!!!!
it did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AHHHH~~~~
so this morning,
i woke up,
hoping to see some growth in anything i planted,
and there it was!
it was a total shock!
it grew!
21 little sprouts stuck out from the soil!
i was so happy!
you know?
its the sense of accomplishment and
well,
you know what i mean.
anyways,
soon i'll have some nicer tea blends!

i knew it.
i have indeed inherited my grandma's plant growing skills.
and as usual,
she made some nice dumplings for my family this year too.
anyways,
back to plants and granny.
well,
granny lives in one of serangoon's hdb flats.
so the whole corridor to her house,
(not exactly whole)
is decorated with nice plants~
well,
some she took from her friends.
some she found thrown away by others,
infected with bugs, but still took home to nurture.
some grew by her self.
she REALLY knows how to plant.
HOWEVER,
none of these genes were inherited by my dearest mother.
you see,
last time when we were in our old home,
in serangoon,
we used to buy nice potted plants.
mostly cactus.
its easier to take care.
however,
anything that mum laid her hands on to take care of,
all died.
so in the end,
all the planting was left to dad.
and mum told us long time ago,
when she was younger,
her friend gave her lots and lots of african violets to plant.
however what became of them?
well, you know.

so yeah,
in total,
have i ever told you how much i love my granny?
well,
cause i do.
