after the hair cut,
i went to chinatown.
took mrt there.
my uncle fetched me and mumsy to serangoon mrt.
saw my cousin after a long time.
hmmm~
she hasn't grown a bit.
in fact,
i think shes getting younger and younger!

shes in JC this year.

and i'm quite glad she FINALLY started wearing glasses.

oh yeah.
so i was saying i went to chinatown.
got some decent craft materials.
bought more yarn!
and they do sell Orion Top yarn there!
bought more felt too.
mumsy says she has double needles at home.
so i will be TRYING to take up knitting.

oh wait.

i'll get zhi yi to teach me!

they are really pretty.

perfect for brooches and stuff.
bought small purple ones and medium pink ones from chinatown.
i can't believe they have it there!!

and they were going at a cheap price.
although not as pretty as the ones i've seen online,
they are quite pretty!
the pink ones are nice.
if theres a chance,
i'll post them online.

i conclude,
if you are a crafter,
my friend,
go to chinatown.
they have REALLY GOOD STUFF there.

well,
they have a stall(the one where i bought yarn from) there that also imports Hamanaka and Clover goods from japan.
both are a brand(i think) in japan that sells yarn and needles and books and other stuff.
all my crocheting books at home have advertisements from hamanaka and clover.
but yeah,
although tempted to buy the needles,
i didn't.
i don't think theres a need for me to use that stufff.
i'm just an amateur!
Anyways,
felts are just ninety cents a piece.
they sell japanese cloths too.
perfect for my kanzashi flowers.

i made a flower for desiree's birthday present.
although not very pretty.
couldn't use pretty cloth and had to use my sister's leftover white cloth and felt.
anyways,
the japanese cloth they sold there were very expensive.
but i guess they were of good quality, thats why.
sigh.
didn't buy them anyways.

However!
if you,
my friend,
are someone who is looking for cloth with a reasonable price, that looks pretty and not necessarily come from japan,
i strongly recommend you to go to the market next to og.
the second level sells all kinds of cloths!
from cheongsam material, to Singapore airline's uniform's cloth.
seriously.
didn't buy any though.
was too lazy.
but from my memory,
they sell at a very reasonable price.
and never ever judge a book by its cover!
(although i often do.)
other than the cloths,
they sell really pretty clothes on the third floor!
not really pretty as in REALLY PRETTY, but reasonably fashionable?
in a way.
and there is a shop there that sells MILLIONS of
clips,
hairbands,
hair extensions,
mini hats,
feathers,
all these stuffs there!
totally noting that shop down.
great for disguises!
never know when an disguise would come handy for a detective,
you know?

so after that i went to OG.
wanted to buy that Suisui bag.
but didn't in the end.
it would get dirty easily.
