I'm bad.

So now, as i type,
my mother is scolding my dad, sister and i.
and, at the same time,
my father is apparently,
trying to check on what i'm doing on the computer by pretending to pass by behind me.

Apparently,
i'm smart enough to not fall for his plan.

Sigh.
mumsy is always scolding.
she says that my sister and i are not doing enough.
you see,
its because my house is really messy.
as in,
REALLY MESSY.
and my mumsy wants us to pack.
the thing is,
we do pack.
but everytime after packing it gets messy again.
so my mother says that its the holidays now,
and that she wants me and my sister to pack the house clean.
but we pack really little.

I agree that its partly because we're lazy.
but i feel that mumsy has some wrongs too.
well,
you see,
my sister is the kind of person who has a really hard head.
the more you want her to,
the more she won't.
but shes not that bad.
the thing is,
mumsy keeps yelling at us to do stuff.

Pack.
Sweep.
Wash.
Iron.
Clean.
Pack.

and then she says that in her time,
she did much more than us and never complained.
and then she continues yelling.

The thing is,
i feel that times are different now.

I mean,
last time they had very little entertainment.
and all that revolved around them was study and house chores.
of course she never complained.
what else was there to do besides studying and house chores?
playing with friends?
hmmm.
and now,
in this era,
we have computers and tv.
there're much more distractions.
its different.
and i think me and my sister are doing quite a good job with chores.
compared to other kids out there.
i mean,
there're many kids nowadays with maids.
we've done everything ourselves.
so isn't that quite good?

But what i'm trying to say is not that me and my sister are correct.
its that perhaps,
we must try to get some balance.
she must understand that times are different,
and stop shouting at us.
and we should also try to understand that our house is really messy.
and not be so lazy.
